Residential Real Estate Assistant – Unlicensed

The Schreder Brothers Real Estate Group, a top producing team in the top producing office in Metro Vancouver, Royal LePage Wolstencroft, is seeking someone to join their dynamic and innovative team.  The team excels in all areas of real estate including commercial sales, leasing, and property management, as well as residential sales. 

Position:  Residential Real Estate Assistant (Unlicensed)  
Experience:  Minimum 3 years experience as a real estate assistant for a high producing team or individual, or similar professional administrative experience
Hours: 8am – 4pm (flexible) weekdays, responding to showing requests after hours and weekends
Location: Royal LePage Wolstencroft office, 19664 64th Avenue, Langley
Wage: $20 – $23 per hour (commensurate with experience)

This position is best suited for a multi-tasking individual with excellent customer service and organization skills. You will be responsible for administrative and marketing tasks in this fast-paced real estate office. To be successful you must have an enthusiastic and professional manner and truly enjoy dealing with people.

The Unlicensed Real Estate Assistant will enable the team to leverage high value activities while continuing to expand all areas of the business. Back-end organization will be out of sight for the team on a day to day basis.

The Unlicensed Real Estate Assistant will provide back-office support to the team’s business in order for them to have more face-to-face time with prospects and existing clients.

They will be a motivated self-starter requiring very little direction on day-to-day basis, with the ability to manage many competing priorities.  Knowledge of contract law related to complex real estate transactions is a bonus.

The primary focus will be ensuring organization and disciplined systems for all of the team’s ventures. While the first priority is administrative tasks, the Unlicensed Real Estate Assistant will have opportunities to contribute to higher level direction and strategy implementation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Administrative: Assist the Team of Realtors with setting appointments, preparing email correspondence, report updates, filing, setting up marketing materials, drafting offers, amendments, and other supporting documentation.

Customer Service: Develop and implement plans to strengthen the relationship between the Team of Realtors and their clients/prospects in the database to help maximize sales and referrals. Assist the Team of Realtors in satisfying any client-related requests for information or services. Keep the client management database up-to-date.  Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner.

Marketing: Create content, manage, and publish social media and print marketing campaigns. Coordinate monthly newsletters, flyers, and other marketing activities.

Listing Transactions: Help provide services that assist the Team of Realtors in getting their listings to market including preparation of listing paperwork, schedule of events, appointments with service providers, updating websites, preparation of all marketing materials, and responding to showing requests and property inquiries.

Purchasing Transactions: Help provide services that assist the Team of Realtors in Buyer acquisition and retention. Process paperwork for accepted offers and subject removals, schedule of events, appointments with service providers, and liaise with the Conveyancing department. Help develop and provide services that assist buyers from the initial call right through to the offer process and closing.

Lead Conversions: Help provide services that assist the Team of Realtors in obtaining listings, including preparation of pre-listing folders, listing presentations, Comparative Market Analysis (CMA’s) and follow-up services.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

  • Microsoft Office Suite and Google products (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, etc.)
  • Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Canva, Microsoft Publisher, and MyRealPage
  • WebForms, Paragon, IXACT Contact (or similar), Realtor Link, Touchbase, Authentisign, and Trello

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficient with computers and technology
  • High aptitude for numbers and working with numbers
  • Superior communications skills (written/verbal)
  • Ability to proof brochures, write correspondence, handle inquiries
  • Extremely strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task and juggle many priorities
  • Quick learner
