We have such an amazing group of agents who are wildly productive and always looking to improve themselves and their businesses. This event was a thank you to them for working so hard this past year, and an attempt to help them prepare for the year ahead.
Our speakers list was the `who`s who` of real estate in the lower mainland and also included some very influential people in the financial planning, investment and business coaching industries. This Years Summit Featured The Following Speakers
Shane Gibson is a Vancouver-based international speaker, author and global Entrepreneur who has addressed over one-hundred thousand people over the past nineteen years on stages in North America, South Africa, India, Dubai, Malaysia, and South America. He is known as one of Canada’s foremost speakers on the topic of social media and sales performance. As a trainer, coach, and motivational speaker he combines a diverse background in sales force leadership, new entrepreneur development and extensive sales and leadership coaching.
He has been published in numerous publications as a speaker and authority on the topics of leadership, marketing, sales, strategic combination’s and assessing business opportunities. He has also addressed the topic of entrepreneurial leadership in magazines, radio, and television interviews, including CMA Magazine, The Financial Post, and Profit Magazine.
Shane Gibson is the author of Closing Bigger: The Field Guide to Closing Bigger Deals, Sociable! A book about how social media is turning sales and marketing upside down and Guerrilla Social Media Marketing. Dan has been in the financial industry for three decades specializing in investment and estate planning. The last 20 years have been with his company, Loney Financial. Loney Financial provides private wealth management, employee benefits and aids in individual banking services. In 2010, Dan was awarded the inaugural Leadership of Excellence Award for Manulife Financial. Dan has also owned hockey rinks, restaurants, fitness equipment stores, a Jr. A hockey team and a Crossfit club.
In 2005, Dan took a business trip to Guatemala that proved to be life-changing. It was there that he met retired school teacher Carroll Bishop and worked alongside her to rescue homeless orphans in Guatemala. Starting with one building in 2006, the James Project now houses 100 children in 9 homes. 4000 meals are served each month from the James Project efforts and a school for 200 children has been built on the 15 acre project. Over 100 Canadians have come to visit the project in Guatemala with Dan.
The Family Man
